[Esip-drone] Fwd: OPTIMISE UAV Survey

Hi all,

See below email from the EU CostAction OPTIMISE who are leading the way in
drone spectral sensing standard development.  They're carrying out a survey
which will help them in their work and are looking for as wide a spread of
inputs as possible, input from the US community would definitely widen that
pool.

Dear OPTIMSE community,

Within our community, we have discussed a lot about best practices for
spectral measurements. During a couple of meetings in the last half a year,
the OPTIMSE BUS (Best practice for UAV spectral Sampling) has taken up some
speed. Since a few weeks, our survey on the state-of-the-art in UAV remote
sensing is online:

With the survey, we want to ask researchers, companies, farmers and others
on their opinion and/or experiences on this topic and identify future needs
of the community.

- To participate, you don’t need to be an expert on UAV sensing and don’t
even have to have used UAVs yourself to participate
- The survey will take you about 5 – 20 minutes. You are free to answer to
everything you like. Almost no question is mandatory
- You can access it via your smartphone, tablet and normal browser

We would be very happy if you would participate in the survey and circulate
it among your peers. Additionally, if you are going to a conference where
people would be interested in such a survey and/or would like to populate
it there, I am happy to provide you materials such as the flyer that is
attached to this email. Please let me know.
