[Esip-envirosensing] Reminder: Envirosensing cluster telecon, Tuesday, May 1st

Greetings EnviroSensors!

The Envirosensing Cluster is having its next telecon on *Tuesday*, May 1st,
at 2:00 pm Pacific / 5:00 pm Eastern.

We are pleased to have EnviroSensing Cluster co-chair Scotty Strachan as
our May presenter. Scotty is based at University of Nevada, Reno where he
serves as Director of Cyberinfrastructure as well as Director of the Nevada
Climate-ecohydrological Assessment Network (NevCAN). NevCAN a series of
monitoring stations in the Great Basin with a focus on mountain
environments and plant/water interactions. In his presentation, he will
describe data workflows, networking, and field system design, as well as
provide a glimpse into some of the unique information coming out of this
observations network.
