Greetings EnviroSensors,
Today we have a guest speaker lined up to present work on sensor design and
manufacturing for environmental monitoring. We will also quickly recap the
ESIP Summer Meeting and give an update on the latest cluster-focused pilot
project. Don’t miss this chance to reconnect with the cluster and hear
about some cutting-edge work in sensor design.
*Guest speaker:*
Cody Youngbull is a Research Professor at the University of Montana in
Biological Sciences. He earned his Ph.D. in Condensed Matter Physics from
the University of Washington in 2001 for his work on ultrafast laser
manufacturing of polymer photonic sensors. Cody directs SensorSpace, a
cutting-edge facility for environmental sensor design, prototyping,
production, and deployment at the Flathead Lake Biological Field Station in
Montana.
