[Esip-infoquality] Reminder - IQC Monthly telecon - March 13, 2018; also about "Uncertainty White Paper"

The next telecon of the Information Quality Cluster will be on Tuesday, March 13, 2018, starting at 8 AM US Pacific Standard Time (PST). 

*        Meeting Agenda: I have posted a draft agenda on the usual Google doc we use for taking meeting notes. This is at https://docs.google.com/document/d/1T4wEmY48qpP7cDrbqV7tppkZ3q0GGkJNz_glvu4C2RI/edit. If you have any comments on the agenda, please let me know.

*        This month, our invited speaker will be Nicolau Manubens. Nicolau Manubens is a computer scientist working in the Earth Sciences Department of the Barcelona Supercomputing Center in Spain and involved in one of the European Copernicus projects.  The title of his presentation is: "Evaluation and Quality Control for the Copernicus Seasonal Forecast Systems"

*        Uncertainty White Paper: I would like to remind that you that the white paper outline is still open for comments and revisions until March 13, 2018.  Also, we have had an open invitation for you to express interest in contributing to the white paper by filling out, on or before March 13, the form at: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfix07ukOoHoekSXj1dDBd6T5Z9jWdlFw0aMGs3lW_G5nusBQ/viewform. FYI, so far we have had 13 people fill out the form. The current outline for the white paper is at https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Vj0UArMaURuOt8-7A6NlelXSvcWb6LmYAypezszqvWA/edit. Especially important at this stage is to expand on the references list so that we can adequately cover prior related work.
