To help authors in the effort to further research reproducibility, IEEE has integrated IEEE DataPort with over  <https://linkprotect.cudasvc.com/url?a=https%3a%2f%2fieee-dataport.us20.list-manage.com%2ftrack%2fclick%3fu%3dc7de4cd0c1e2b6cdb3d41bbfc%26id%3dda516c698c%26e%3daa663a5efd&c=E,1,Wk2Y9UL-nSVHyVRPjHuELOpxmwiOkUS7kb2DTYMfkAOqumdZSvUoInP250BCD9o45r6Zkg9hruP3jUqFBgchfApFkxBHlphvoAL5VaFAwCI,&typo=1> 105 IEEE journals and magazines and with IEEE Xplore so that IEEE DataPort datasets related to Xplore articles are directly accessible from Xplore articles. 

The integration with IEEE journals and magazines allows users to indicate whether they have data associated with the article they are submitting in Scholar One or another article submission system. If the author indicates they have data related to their manuscript, they receive instructions and descriptive information on how to upload their dataset to IEEE DataPort and can link directly to IEEE DataPort to upload their dataset to IEEE DataPort.  Each dataset uploaded receives a DOI which is then submitted during the article submission process to ensure the data is linked to the article when it is published in Xplore.

When authors upload their datasets to IEEE DataPort, they gain additional global exposure for their research and gain the opportunity to receive additional citations because datasets, like manuscripts, are citable. All authors are invited to upload their research datasets to IEEE DataPort at no cost when uploading a manuscript.
