[Esip-machinelearning] Request for Feedback - Principles and Responsibilities for AI/ML in the Earth Sciences

Dear all,


We (the American Geophysical Union Open Science team<https://data.agu.org/about/>, our Steering Committee<https://data.agu.org/ethics-ai-ml/team/>, and our community workshop participants) have been working on a year-long NASA-funded project to develop a set of principles and responsibilities for the use of artificial intelligence and machine learning in the Earth and space sciences.



As the culmination of our editorial team’s work – and following the input and guidance gathered from a community survey and two workshops – we’re happy to announce that a draft of our Principles and Responsibilities for Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Ethics in the Earth, and space sciences is now available for feedback and comment!
