The highlight of this meeting is the presence of an esteemed guest speaker, Dr. Anuj Karpatne. Dr. Karpatne is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Virginia Tech and has dedicated his career to solving some of the most pressing scientific and social challenges. His work in the fields of data mining and machine learning is truly impressive, with a focus on applying these methods to domains such as climate science, hydrology, ecology, and many more.
