Dear Open Source Science cluster -
Thank you for participating in today's Open Science cluster monthly telecon. The meeting notes are available here<https://docs.google.com/document/d/13sRtd7R3aMVoqxiWqPOTSXJjt0DOSeh_/edit>.
We made good progress on organization for the ESIP summer meeting session Building a Thriving Open Science Community. Our session is 11-12:30pm East on 19th July.
There are several follow ups from today's call:

  1. Thank you to those who volunteered to help with the planning of the session. We will email you separately
  2. If other cluster members would like to volunteer to help with the session (facilitation, organization, etc). Please email me<mailto:jennifer.h.hewson at nasa.gov> or Cyndi<mailto:cynthia.r.hall at nasa.gov>
  3. I have created a table to track the panoply of panelist / organization suggestions that were included in the proposal and captured today. Please note, I cannot currently access the chat from the telecon:
     * if you included suggestions in the chat, please feel free to add them in the Potential Panelist Pool here<https://docs.google.com/document/d/13sRtd7R3aMVoqxiWqPOTSXJjt0DOSeh_/edit#heading=h.gkvpiw4pxse9> (p3), or in the table below. I will also check the zoom link again at a later date.
     * If you have additional information (potential panelist name, contact, etc), please include this
     * We have many potential panelist suggestions, and this can be revised as we further organize
Our next scheduled telecon is Tuesday, 28th June at 12pm East. Feel free to send items to the agenda by email (@Hewson, Jenny (GSFC-423.0)[SCIENCE SYSTEMS AND APPLICATIONS INC]<mailto:jennifer.h.hewson at nasa.gov> @Hall, Cynthia R. (GSFC-613.0)[SCIENCE SYSTEMS AND APPLICATIONS INC]<mailto:cynthia.r.hall at nasa.gov>) or through Slack (#open-source-science-transformation).
Thanks very much,
Jenny and Cyndi
