Hi Open Science Cluster!

Please join us for our cluster telecon next *Tuesday,* *September 26*,
* from* *9-10 am PT / 12-1 pm ET*. We will continue our webinar series
with Natasha
Stavros <https://wkidsolutions.com/resume/> who will present on* "**Open
Science Cyberinfrastructure Supports Equitable Access to NASA Big Data -
The ImgSPEC Case Study*."

*Presentation Abstract*: The surge in open-access data relevant to Earth
and environmental science necessitates proficiency in domain science, data
science, and computer science. However, mastering these simultaneously can
be daunting. To harness this data effectively, we require an open science
cyberinfrastructure that combines both hardware and software, catering to
diverse user needs in terms of security, access, and experience. In this
webinar, Dr. Natasha Stavros will present a case study of a NASA Advanced
Information Systems Technology demonstration that promotes open science
cyberinfrastructure for enhanced big data processing. This presentation
will cover a specific use case, user narrative, and an assessment of the
essential services NASA needs to foster open science cyberinfrastructure.
