[Esip-opensource] [rda-geospatial-ig] Fwd: Call for Nominations: CaGIS Distinguished Career Award

The Cartography and Geographic Information Society (CaGIS) is pleased to
announce the call for nominations for the 2015 Distinguished Career Award.
This award is intended to honor the accomplishments of senior professionals
who have contributed substantially to the advancements of the fields of
cartography, GIS or GIScience, or the interface between cartography and
GIScience. While the nominee does not need to be a CaGIS member, a CaGIS
member must submit the nomination (no self-nominations are allowed).
Nominations should include a statement detailing why this individual's
career is worthy of distinction. More details of the nomination process can
be found in the attached file. The deadline for nominations is February 15,
2015.
