The new issue of SIAM News (from the Society of Industrial and Applied
Mathematics) has an article "Setting the Default to Reporducible" in
Computational Science Research [Stodden, V., Borwein, J., and Bailey, D. H.,
2013: SIAM News, Vol. 46, No. 5, pp. 4-6]. The article summarizes
a late-2012 workshop at the Institute for Computational and Experimental
Research. That workshop proposed a set of standards for the dissemination
of reproducible research.

I think this is another strain of the concerns that Curt raised in previous
e-mail
that included a mention of the Reinhart-Rogoff error in economic
calculations.
