[Esip-preserve] Interesting Article on "Big Data"

has an interesting graph from the Gaertner Group that shows
developments going from the Innovation Trigger through the
Peak of Inflated Expectations, followed by the Trough of
Disillustionment, then the Slope of Enlightenment, and
finally the Plateau of Productivity.  The graph includes an
estimate of the time from now until a particular activity
will probably arrive on the Plateau.  Big Data for Customer
Analytics is pronounced as "Obsolete before plateau" and
Information Semantic Services are expected to have a
5 to 10 year period before reaching the plateau.

No end of fun.
