I had forwarded this note to some of my colleagues at NASA and just got one comment: “I’m surprised that one example under ‘data subset’ does not contain a version number.”

The new data citation recommendations for the American Meteorological Society journals have just gone online in the past week or so. I know I've mentioned it during a few previous Preservation and Stewardship meetings. I'd be very interested in any comments you might have.
