This might be of interest to some in this group because hey are developing a educational curriculum around what they call “data supporters” - a nice new term in the ongoing discussion of “what’s a data professional?”

Dear members of the Education and Training Interest Group,

Please find in the link the draft Case Statement<https://docs.google.com/document/d/1w29c58JRpzlKJ34EDJg_cYBIMjgRn4DpGPpUGUd_Wf0/edit> for a WG Data Supporter Curriculum.
After teaching Essentials 4 Data Support for quit some years now, it is now time for a more structured Curriculum for Data Supporters.

The Case Statement if very preliminary, please feel free to comment on it.
I am sending this email to the group to investigate who is also interested in working on this.

Please let me know before October 20th if you are interested in cooperating in this. I will set up a Skype call with anyone interested in the first week of November.

We will also use the wiki to communicate with the group.
