Hello Everyone,

Tuesday afternoon at the ESIP Winter meeting, we are hosting a session
looking at metadata requirements for physical samples, Defining the Bull's
Eye of Sample Metadata https://sched.co/VaY3.

We are looking for participants to briefly present their minimum metadata
requirements during the session. After the presentations, we will lead a
discussion to review the pros and cons of the proposed metadata
fields/terms and develop a refined list of metadata fields. There are no
requirements to participate (i.e. no signing up or power point
presentations), just come prepared to share your community or institutions
minimum metadata requirements for physical samples.

We welcome participants from the Data Stewardship and Citation communities
to the conversation.

I look forward to seeing many of you at the ESIP Winter meeting next week,
Thank you,
Sarah
