Hello Data Stewardship Committee Members,

I hope everyone enjoyed the holiday season!

My name is Bolívar Aponte Rolón, and I am thrilled to join the ESIP community as the 2025 Community Fellow. I am looking forward to collaborating with all of you and contributing to this committee.

This is a friendly reminder that our next Data Stewardship Committee meeting is scheduled for January 13, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM EST. During this meeting, we will be discussing our DMPs session for the January 2025 ESIP virtual meeting. Your participation will be invaluable as we prepare for this important session.

I am excited to introduce myself as the new 2025 Community Fellow. I am passionate about open science and reproducibility, and I continually seek ways to make my work more transparent and accessible. Engaging in open-source projects and reproducible research is an ongoing endeavor that I always strive to enhance. Collaborating with the Data Stewardship Committee allows me to give back to the community while also fostering my own learning and growth. Additionally, I am thrilled to share that I will be starting a postdoctoral position at Iowa State University in the Department of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering.
