Hello Lewis,
Thanks for your thoughts & your offer to contribute. Given how this roadmap is evolving (in people’s heads mostly at this point in time), I ‘d say all the elements you have identified are germane aspects. My outline is designed to kickstart various ideas that help us define this roadmap. I think we could use our next monthly telecon (Oct 25?) to hash out further details.
I am out on vacation for a week from tomorrow, & am back to work 10/20.
bhaskar~

Hi Bhaskar,
Thanks for kicking off the Roadmap. I’ve literally just begun to comment on the structure as it currently sits and I am struggling to see where I can contribute right now.
For a roadmap, I am not seeing (i) project goals and objectives, (ii) a timeline indicating the schedule, (iii) important milestones and deliverables, (iv) possible risks, (v) dependencies, etc.
I think if I can help you and the community to define some of these then I can certainly contribute.
Lewis
Hi folks,
I have shared an editable GoogleDocs document outlining our Semantic Technologies Roadmap for Earth Science with our group. I think it provides a reasonable skeletal framework to build our roadmap. Feel free to share your thoughts, and I hope by our next monthly telecon, we can talk about potential contributors, and a rough timeline for a first draft ? Thank you!
