Hi all -

I'm sure many of you are on the is-geo list, but figured I'd pass it along!

Hi everyone,

A group of us are interested in forming a working group revolving around
model semantics. Topics of interest include:

1) Designinng a repository of geoscience models, with semantic descriptions
of their characteristics using ontologies

2) Understanding how this repository would be used by scientists to find
and compare models based on variables, assumptions, and functions

We are particularly interested in hydrology models, building on Summer
Institute activities, but our discussions will be quite general. We have
several major funded projects and organizations interested in being
involved.

If you are interested, please specify your weekly availability in this poll:

https://doodle.com/poll/6rmti8red4dpewu7

We will pick a weekly meeting time when we close the poll on Thursday. We
would like to start the meetings in January.

Thanks!

Yolanda
