Kicking back into gear from a sleepy winter we made some decisions today at the ESIP Soil ontology and informatics Cluster call.

  * We are bringing back the cluster seminars and presentations with specific asks of “How can we contribute” to the semantic resources and “What are you doing” to the data collections.
  * The Todd-Brown Lab would like to invite everyone here to our weekly soil data harmonization workflow working group. We are developing metadata annotations that will be fed into a scripted data integration workflow. We are currently annotating data sets and plan to have an Rmarkdown document to prototype the integration by May. (Contact Kathe Todd-Brown ktoddbrown at ufl.edu<mailto:ktoddbrown at ufl.edu>)
  * We are continuing (slowly) working through the Soil Measurement review paper. Expect presentations to alternate with working meetings again.
Unless we have a particularly enthusiastic presenter, our next meeting will be revisiting the manuscript.

As always there is more in the notes and org document if you are interested: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1C8MYnr2NWwNhoYTQ-2IXE0h0NfflF8zXEonpabY_s8I/edit?usp=sharing

See you in two weeks!
-Kathe
