Today we kicked off the 2024 ESIP Soil Ontology cluster call! We brainstormed some topics of discussion for future calls that include: common challenges with data harmonization, harmonization workflow examples, reviews of soil informatics domain models, and analysis of data coverage of networks/data-products. In addition, we heard updates from some soil data projects including Soil-DRaH, ISCN4, and Hawai’i GHG. We are meeting again in a month and looking forward to future updates from ISRaD and hearing about Alaska soil data compilations.

As always there are more notes here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Wj4fbPuTAidrdlAHzW16iJUo49KO0JcQCrgMkqXDL-M/edit?usp=sharing A gentle reminder to drop down into the introduction section and add a brief intro!

See you March 27th!
