Also, I forgot to say that if you aren't at ESIP and want to join the
discussion, we could ask Erin et al to put this meeting on the ESIP webex
too so that you could join remotely. Thanks!

Nancy

Hello, all:

Yes, the return on investment interest group is currently planning to get
together on Friday afternoon after the Council for Data Facilities meetings
(approximately 2:30 pm) although we are still awaiting confirmation that a
couple of people who had expressed interest can make it. So, if you are
interested in attending, please let us know on this list. We'd love to have
you join the discussion.

Regards,

Nancy

Hello all -
As far as ESIP, the Return-on-investment interest group is planning a birds
of a feather group, and to the best of my knowledge, was planning to use
this email list to organize/advertise it. See the email archive to view the
intro message, and summary
(http://lists.esipfed.org/mailman/listinfo/esip-sustainableDM). Cindy, you
are on that list (cc'd you here just in case the original got channeled
somewhere besides your inbox)

I don't see their session on the schedule yet. I think that webex
registrations were due in the last day or so, so hopefully some of you will
be able to connect (I plan to).

We'll get a regular telecon set up for this group in January.

I can answer two questions: Thanks to Margaret and Ann we have a very well
populated collaboration area:

everyone from the workshop should be on this list.

If you let us know the session we will make webex happen.

We could do Friday lunch session in room with webex too.

Hi Cyndy --

I'd love to hear the answers to your questions as well! Thanks for sending
them. Although I won't be able to make the ESIP winter meeting, I really
hope that people can continue the discussions that were started in Tempe,
and I will be happy to contribute to the various groups, including the
technical vision group. ESIP often provides remote connectivity, and I
would try to join remotely if the tech vision group were so enabled. I'll
cc Erin to see whether that might be possible.

Hi all,

As you might recall, some of the working groups from our Arizona meeting
were planning to use the ESIP meeting in DC as a way to re-connect and check
on progress towards the next steps that we outlined. Some of you may even
have organized a breakout along these lines.

Would it be helpful to share who is planning to be there and what
opportunities we have for re-engaging? We had a great meeting and I don't
want to lose the momentum. I'll be there and I am particularly interested
in meeting up with the technical vision breakout group. I have not lined up
a breakout group, but I'm guessing there will be obvious ones to join or we
could meet for lunch or dinner.

Did we get a collaboration area where documents are posted? Is anybody
actually on this mailing list yet?

Thank in advance for any assistance getting oriented.
