[Esip-sustainabledm] Fall Meeting Session submissions extended until 5:00 PM Eastern US time on Thursday, 20 April

Dear all

For those of you doing those last minute Fall Meeting Session Submissions you are aware that there have been quite a few issues. (I know because more than a few of you have contacted me).

So please note that the Session submissions have now been extended until  5:00 PM Eastern US on Thursday, 20 April. (http://fallmeeting.agu.org/2017/session-proposals/  )

So if you thought you had not made it, you can still get something in.

We have some really good submissions so far so lets keep them rolling in.

For those of you that threw in some pretty rough ones at the last minute – here is your chance to fix them up and sort out convenors.

And to Ruth Duerr, our esteemed ESSI president, I offer my profound apologies and know I should have trusted her.

As Ruth predicted and true to form, ESSI members did submit at the last minute and in the last 36 hours we went from ~27 submissions to 60.

PS if it you are having trouble when submitting please try abstracts at agu.org. The AGU staff have been on deck all night and from what I can see are still there, even though it is 11.24 PM in Washington (and thankfully 1.24 PM in Australia).
