[Esip-sustainabledm] Philip is retiring

Dear Sustainable Data colleagues,
I am sorry I have been out of touch the last few calls. Unfortunately, I have been crazy busy at ASU due to my upcoming retirement. Several large projects have dominated my last couple of months at the university and now I find myself only able to drop you all a line on my last, effective day in the office.
My wife and I are retiring back to Europe, probably Portugal or Spain. I have had too many years in the Arizona desert to consider a return to the UK. Of course Brexit and the political and economic turmoil has played a part in that decision as well.
We will be traveling a lot in the near future and I hope to get back to my creative, rather than academic/operational, writing.
Best wishes for 2023. I hope your research data efforts and collaborations continue to move the field forward in the way your past efforts have already done.
