Welcome to ESIP's Visioneering Team!

We are the ad hoc working group tasked with the awesome challenge of
brainstorming crazy ideas for the Summer ESIP 2016 Meeting
<http://commons.esipfed.org/2016SummerMeeting> in Chapel Hill this July.
This group is open to everyone, so if you know of creative and enthusiastic
individuals who would be a prefect fit for our team, please send them my
way!

We have a few weeks until our first WebEx call (Feb 3), and look for a
Doodle poll next week to decide if the current time is best for everyone.
Until then, start thinking about ways to take advantage of our first ever
annual theme (Earth Sciences Big Data), our venue (the Friday Center
<http://fridaycenter.unc.edu/>) and our temporal proximity of to the
International
Data Week <http://www.internationaldataweek.org/> in Denver which happens a
couple of months later.

Please be ready to pitch your ideas in our virtual "safe space". It'll be
great to hear from everyone on February 3 at 12noon EST!
