Dear All,
We would like to thank the group and Kevin Ward in particular for your
great support to our work including this opportunity to
show the Visualization Knowledge (VisKo) framework. Regarding our today¹s
presentation, we would like to show you how you can get involved with the
development of a new visualization paradigm based on semantics that needs
you help to evolve.
We not interested in exposing you to yet another visualization toolkit.
Instead, we aim to show you that VisKo is actionable knowledge about
visualization toolkits, viewers, data formats, and other things
visualization-related that can be used to orchestrate the use of a broad
range of visualization capabilities over a distributed environment like
the Web. Also, we see VisKo as a platform that creates opportunities for
new visualization research in support of science that still need to be
designed and implemented this is why ESIP is the right place for us to
discuss our work.
With that in mind, we will be presenting a few key slides and reserving
plenty of meeting time to discuss how VisKo can be useful to you, even if
you and your group are already happy with the visualization solution that
you currently use VisKo should be able to improve your experience
working with your current visualization solutions.
We are looking forward to talking you very soon.
Many thanks,
Paulo Pinheiro and Nicholas Del Rio
