Hello, everyone:

It appears that the Thursday, March 30th date works best for those who
responded to my question, so please reserve that date and time of 9 am PDT,
10 am MDT, 11 am CDT, and 12 noon EDT.  I will send out a reminder and an
agenda early next week.  Please let me know if you have any items to be on
the agenda.  Thanks, and hope you will be able to join the call.

Hello, everyone:

Since Sophie Hou and I have a conference to attend the first week of April
where we will be presenting information and getting user feedback on the DMT
Clearinghouse, it makes sense to re-schedule our monthly meeting originally
scheduled for April 6th.  Thursdays seem to have worked best for most people
who have attended our calls in the past, so I suggest either of the last two
Thursdays in March as options since we didn't get to meet in March at the
regular time.  

 

To make this simpler, I suggest either: 

-           Thursday, March 23rd, any time after 12:30 pm PDT, or 

-           Thursday, March 30th at the "regular" 9 am PDT, 10 am MDT, 11 am
CDT, 12 noon EDT for our next call.   

-          Please respond yes or no to these two proposed times, and if
you've got a time on March 23rd after 12:30 pm PDT that won't work, please
let us know.  

 

High on the agenda is discussing what we can next do to improve and market
the DMT Clearinghouse since our proposal for funding from USGS' Community
for Data Integration was not chosen, and also ideas for pursuing our
interests in identifying and agreeing upon core skills for data literacy and
education related to data management.  Your ideas are welcome!

 

If this simple method of setting up a different date for the call does not
work, I can send out a doodle poll too.  Thanks for your continued interest
and involvement.
