[ESIP-AQ] Reminder: GEO AQ CoP Technical Programmer Call - Sept. 29 - 10 am EDT/ 4pm CEST

All,

A reminder that the technical AQ Network call will be tomorrow, Thursday,
Sept. 29 10 am EDT/ 4 pm CEST. The agenda is on the
wiki<http://wiki.esipfed.org/index.php/AQ_Work_Group_Telecons#September_29.2C_2011>and
is open to other additions. All are welcome, but we are hoping that
one
call a month will be dedicated to programmers that are implementing the AQ
Data Network to connect and discuss problems they are facing, make decisions
about next steps for development.

For planning purposes, the next AQ meeting will be Thursday, Oct. 13. This
call will be for non-technical topics, suggestions are also listed on
theagenda page<http://wiki.esipfed.org/index.php/AQ_Work_Group_Telecons#Future_Topics_for_2011>.
One suggestion has been that this next call will focus on moving the AQ
controlled vocabulary/CF naming conventions forward since the work lead by
Christiane Textor (CF naming general, CF for air quality
wiki<http://wiki.esipfed.org/index.php/Air_Quality/Chemistry_Naming_Conventions>

 , new CF naming stuff since Textor? what next (surface obs names?)?. Is
there anyone that would like to volunteer to spearhead this topic?
