CRO Instructions:

  1. Go to the Credit_Role_Ontology_Data<https://gcc02.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fdocs.google.com%2Fspreadsheets%2Fd%2F1VEYPLgTsCR_zbMUbThonBrqaYqBiMT4e525NzFi7ql8%2Fedit%23gid%3D1552417864&data=04%7C01%7Cmlangseth%40usgs.gov%7C85e42892b9b0463aa16508d935ca2140%7C0693b5ba4b184d7b9341f32f400a5494%7C0%7C0%7C637599964530846211%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C1000&sdata=hT9hgJ6qyvAPb4OolZVt3PgOXXIzHPEaELqXGhCWr%2BI%3D&reserved=0> tab in our Objects and Concerns Spreadsheet.
  2. Grab a column and change "Participant #" to your name
  3. For each role, choose "Yes" or "No" to indicate whether you think that role, if applicable, should be considered for inclusion in the author list for a data citation. Please note that by choosing "Yes" you are not saying that the role must be given authorship, only that it should be considered for authorship if it had a large enough role in the data production. Likewise, choosing "No" doesn't necessarily mean that the person in that role will not be given authorship. We are just trying to create a reasonable length list to start with.

Hope to see you there!
