Subject: NASA Fire Information for Resource Management System (FIRMS)

fyi: FIRMS is a NASA and US Forest Service active fire mapping application (https://firms.modaps.eosdis.nasa.gov/). A new service, FIRMS US/Canada, was recently released, complementing FIRMS Global. Both FIRMS Global and FIRMS US/Canada provide active fire data within three hours of a satellite observation, from MODIS and VIIRS.
