Everyone,

You need to make your Winter Meeting hotel reservations by COB, Friday
December 13, 2002 in order to guarantee the $99 room rate.  Reservations
made after 5 pm PST will be at the prevailing hotel rate of at least
$159/night (non-conference rate).  The hotel's direct number is:  (800)
222-8733.  Be sure to mention that you are with the JPL-ESIP Federation
meeting.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me or
Carol Meyer esipfoundation@mindspring.com  or 877/870-3747.

In addition, you need to let the Foundation Front Office know that you
will be attending the meeting so that a correct headcount can be
provided to the hotel and enough meeting materials are generated.

I will have a camera crew at the winter meeting to interview the PI's or
approved representatives of Federation members for a video production of
Federation capabilities. If you would like to be included in this video
please have a representative there. This interview will include
questions that I will distribute by next week. Ultimately elements of
the interview will be used to highlight your organization in
Federation/Foundation marketing materials.
