I am passing this on to you as an FYI. We are making headway into
transforming the weathercast into the Envirocast. See the associated
link. The following is text from "The Recharge Report" from the
Groundwater Foundation:

Wowing the Weather Watchers
Here's a great idea: Local television weathercasters including
watershed and other environmental news as part of their weathercast.
The idea is a win-win, educating the viewers about weather-related
issues and increasing the station's value and visibility. Envirocast
reports on a Washington, D. C. television meteorologist who incorporates
Chesapeake Bay news into his forecast, and has also added watershed news
to his station's website. The news story is at

http://www.stormcenter.com/envirocast/2003-07-09/special_feature.html,
and the station's website is at
<http://watershed.interactive-environment.com/main/>
http://watershed.interactive-environment.com/main/.

StormCenter would like to integrate additional work being done by
Federation partners that is relevant to increasing environmental
information within the TV weathercast. Let me know your ideas on how we
can increase the exposure of your work and take it to the next level.

Regards,
Dave
