The Geoinformatics 2007 Meeting will be held in San Diego, May
17-18. Please consider attending and submitting an abstract to
this Meeting. In addition to traditional oral and poster
sessions, there will be computer-based demo sessions that
enable interactive presentations in a state-of-the-art computer
facility.

The theme of this annual Meeting is "Transforming Data into
Knowledge". Geoinformatics spans the spectrum of information
processing methods that support this transformation
(visualization, data fusion, data mining, assimilation,
forecasting, semantic-based services, web services, etc.) in
all Earth system science disciplines (atmospheric science,
oceanography, solid Earth, hydrology, etc.).

The abstract deadline has been extended to April 9.
