eeting,_Washington,_DC#Preliminary_Agenda> for the meeting, The
Changing Climate: Making Earth Science Relevant Again in Light of Global
Warming. This meeting has shaped up to be very strong, with many of
your peers involved in the planning and program. An excellent line up
of speakers has been secured and a number of breakouts of interest to
you are being offered.
Early bird registration continues through December 14. Register
<http://www.regonline.com/161769> now to take advantage of the
discounted rate. Also, sign up for the poster session on January 9. If
you would like to demo a tool you've developed, you can reserve a
monitor in your registration. A limited number of monitors are
available for the demos and will be awarded on a first-requested basis.
Hotel reservations are available at a group rate of $179/night at the
Embassy Suites Washington DC Convention Center. This rate is available
until December 18, or until the room block is full. Do not delay making
your reservation as we blocked a smaller than usual number of rooms this
year. You can reserve your room online
<http://embassysuites.hilton.com/en/es/groups/personalized/WASCCES-FES-2
