The 22nd ESIP Federation meeting will take place January 6-8, 2009 at
the Embassy Suites Convention Center Hotel in Washington, DC.  The theme
of the meeting is Data Policy and will examine the roles the ESIP
Federation might play in the larger Earth science data arena.  A
powerful line up of experts has been invited to share their perspectives
on this important topic.  Check out the working

technical and other topical breakouts are being offered.  Some

The meeting is highly participatory, with many opportunities for Q&A,
direct input into sessions and informal networking.
