[ESIP-all] GEO User Interface Committee Call for Proposals

Many of you are aware of the Group on Earth Observations' activities. Its
User Interface and Capacity Building Committees issued a Call for Proposals
(http://www.earthobservations.org/documents/cfp/200902_cfp_eodsp.pdf) that
would essentially entertain project ideas that bring Earth Observations to
the developing world by matching expertise with decision support needs
across the globe.  I am working with a team from Kenya that is looking for
some project advisors with expertise in:

- Digital Elevation Model and land use
- hydrology with applications on rivers
- water management (combat floods and droughts)
- soil siltation (optional)

The deadline for proposal submission is on June 15.  If you are interested
in participating, please contact Fabio Domenico Vescovi at
fabiodomenico.vescovi at fastwebnet.it. He is serving as the coordination point
for the Kenyan project.
