Fostering Better Collaboration

As part of its commitment to better serve its members and the broader
community, the ESIP Federation's Products and Services Committee has
developed an online expert database that allows partners to self-identify
professional expertise and related interests, as well as assign a ranking to
indicate their level of expertise. The purpose of this database is to allow
ESIP Federation partners to easily identify possible collaborators on future
projects and to enable the ESIP Federation community to serve as experts
beyond its own community. At the end of the registration process, you will
be given an opportunity to participate in the database. This activity is
strictly voluntary, though we expect that the benefits you receive for
participating will begin to accrue immediately. For your contribution to
the ESIP Expert Skills Database, the ESIP Federation is offering a $20
Starbucks gift card to anyone who completes the online expert skills form by
May 31, 2010. For those who want to enter their expert skills without
registering for the meeting, click here

I hope to see you in Knoxville this summer. If you have any questions about
the meeting, please feel free to contact me directly.

Best regards,

Carol
