We plan to hire several system developers and administrator(s). The following describes the technical requirements. Successful candidates will receive competitive salary and benefit, and will join cloud computing leaders to advance spatial cloud computing and to build Data as a Service (DaaS) for Earth and Space science discovery and exploration. System administrator qualification:
• Minimum bachelor degree in computer science, GIS, or other relevant fields.
• System administration experience with large numbers of distributed servers and disks. Specifically, experience with a Linux OS is required (such as Ubuntu, CentO/S, and Red Hat).
• Experience with JAVA, C/C++, Python, etc.
• Experience with file systems and file system optimizations in Linux is required; in addition, experience with object based file storage within a cloud computing environment is a plus.
• Experience with administering and running virtualized servers using open source KVM and VMWare is a plus.
• Experience using commercial cloud services, such as Amazon EC2, Amazon S3, Google App Engine, etc. is a plus.
• Energetic people with experience working in a team environment and can adapt quickly to changing requirement is a must.

Software developer qualification:
• Minimum bachelor degree in computer science, GIS, or other relevant fields.
• Working experience with at least one Linux OS is required, such as Ubuntu, CentO/S, and Red Hat.
• Demonstrated experience with JAVA, C/C++, Python, etc.
• Working experience with virtualized servers using open source KVM and/or VMWare is required.
• Experience in geospatial technology is required.
• Familiarity with programming environments in large distributed environments, parallel programming, scheduling algorithms, web service applications, etc.
• Experience in porting applications to cloud environments is a plus.
• Experience using commercial cloud services, such as Amazon EC2, Amazon S3, Google App Engine, etc. is a plus.
• Energetic people with experience working in a team environment and can adapt quickly to changing requirement is a must.
