***Second Call for Nominations

ESIP Colleagues,

The ESIP Federation annually elects officers and committee chairs during the
during the December time frame. The Constitution and Bylaws Committee is
responsible for gathering the nominees and running the elections. The
Committee is soliciting nominations via email (each nomination must be
seconded) and will be compiled and posted on the ESIP Federation wiki. The
ballot will be placed before the Assembly for an electronic vote during the
latter half of December and conclude just prior to the ESIP Federation
meeting. Election results will be announced at the ESIP Federation Business
Meeting on 5 January 2011. New officers and committee chairs will take
office at the end of the ESIP Federation meeting on 6 January 2011.

All officers, committee chairs and type representatives serve one-year
terms. The President and Vice President are limited to two consecutive
terms. In addition, the President and Vice President must come from
different ESIP Types. In all, we elect 22 people each year. Before
nominating someone, please be sure that you have the consent of that person.
Nominations should be sent to carolbmeyer at esipfed.org and
erinrobinson at esipfed.org and will be accepted through Monday, 13 December
2010. Nominations may be tracked at:

Nominations.

The ESIP Federation is a self-organizing, member driven organization. Now
is the time for you to be proactive and either nominate an ESIP colleague or
step up and run for office.
