Hello Everyone,

Time is short! Please consider submitting an abstract to the IN13 session titled “Data Management Strategies for Airborne Science Data.”

Thanks!
Jeff Walter

P.S. I know some of you will get this message multiple times. Sorry about that.

==============
Description: Over the last several decades numerous airborne campaigns have been and continue to be conducted in support of Earth science. The data collected during these campaigns have a wide variety of uses including model assessment, validation of satellite observations, decision support applications, and basic and applied research. However management of these data is often accompanied by some unique challenges. In order to maximize their utility and ensure their availability now and into the future, these challenges must be addressed. The aim of this session is to explore data management strategies, challenges, and solutions related to discovery, access, usability, interoperability, and stewardship of airborne science.

Conveners:
Jeff Walter (NASA GSFC)
Jeanne Behnke (NASA GSFC)
Gao Chen (NASA LARC)
Marilyn Kaminski (NSIDC/University of Colorado)
