[ESIP-all] Visioneers Telecon Today - Wednesday, Aug 31 at 1 pm EDT

Visioneers,
While I am unable to join the call today I wanted to share an idea that 
LuAnn Dahlman and I had in response to a recent ESIP ED action item to 
explore ways to leverage ESIP knowledge and expertise around virtual 
communication tools such as webinars and/or web-based curriculum 
development.

Our idea for the winter meeting is that we would like to lead an 
afternoon session that could kick-off this effort AND continue the 
Climate Change Education Working Group initiated at last winters meeting.

Our afternoon session, if approved,  would be tentatively called 
"Communicating Climate Change using new technology tools".
We would share our knowledge, identify best-practices & invite others to 
share their expertise - while documenting all the info.

I can post this idea on the wiki later today if we get the green light.
