*Meeting Highlights: *
Plenary Sessions: We are very excited to have plenary speakers from NASA,
NOAA, EPA, USGS and NSF on Wednesday speak about how they leverage
cross-agency collaborations. On Thursday there will be a more technical
plenary session with the CTO from NASA Goddard, Adrian Gardner on using the
cloud and William Gunn from Mendeley on bringing modern network
efficiencies to academic research. Plenaries will be available via WebEx.

ESIP Business Meeting: The
agenda<http://wiki.esipfed.org/index.php/2012_Annual_Business_Meeting>has
been posted for the 2012 Business Meeting.

ESIP Awards: This year we will honor 3 ESIP members for their service to
the community through the Martha Maiden Award and the new ESIP President's
Award. These will be presented at lunch, January 4.
