[ESIP-all] Memorial Gathering for Greg Leptoukh

Hi All,
I am again sending out a mass mailing, knowing that many of you who are not local to GSFC, won’t be able to make this gathering.  Thank you for bearing with me.

We will be having a Memorial Gathering for Greg Leptoukh, on February 9, 2012, from 3:00 to 5:00, in the Building 8 Auditorium.  Greg’s professional and personal contributions to making Earth science data more accessible and usable by developing leading edge data and information services will be greatly missed.

If you would like to attend, but do not have a NASA badge, please send me your full name by Friday, February 3rd, so that I can get the paperwork in on time.  Please bring a driver’s license, or if born outside the US, your US passport.  Apologies to those who are not US citizens... we do not have a long enough lead time to get the paperwork in that would allow you on center.

Attached is a map on getting to Building 8.  From the front gate on Greenbelt Rd., Building 8 is straight ahead, through the first stop sign, and on your right.  Parking is to your left.  If you come into the building on the side that faces the parking lot, just go up the stairs in the lobby, and you will be at the auditorium.  (I am assuming you know how to get to the front gate,
but if not, let me know.)
