Subject: OSTP Releases National Strategy for Civil Earth Observations
I am pleased to announce that today, OSTP released the National Strategy
for Civil Earth Observations (EO Strategy), the primary output of the
2011-2012 National Earth Observations Task Force. You may find the
report and blog post here:

our community: the civil Earth observation assessment (EOA) and the new
Big Earth Data Initiative (BEDI). Both activities, will be overseen by
the newly re-chartered U.S. Group on Earth Observations (USGEO)
Subcommittee of CENRS, and integrated with our 7-year international
collaboration through the intergovernmental Group on Earth Observations
(GEO).
