This is a quick update to resend the GIBS Development job opp with the

The candidate will:
Be a member of the Science Data Understanding Group and will report to the
group supervisor. Will be the core developer for NASA’s Global Imagery
Browse Services (GIBS) project. Will be responsible for building and
enhancing a unique C++ software package developed at JPL for serving
science imagery. Will work in a collaborative environment across the NASA
Earth Science community, collectively building the GIBS system to serve
geo-referenced imagery from all NASA data centers. Will apply standards and
protocols from the Earth science, geospatial/GIS, and education communities
to ensure system compatibility with a wide audience.
