[ESIP-all] Further Information on Meeting Venues with respect to carbon footprint

I happened to find the following article on cities with information that
has some
relevance to the carbon footprint of travel:

The information in the article suggests that cities with the lowest car
ownership are
also cities with the best public transportation networks and the best
arrangements
for walking.  Thus, these may be places that are likely to make it easier
to get around
outside a meeting.

These factors are only some of the things to think about in responding to
the original
Slate article about reducing the carbon footprint of travel and meetings.
Perhaps this
reference could be added to the links on the visioneers web page.
