[ESIP-all] Bring Your Instrument or Vocals to the ESIP Summer Meeting...

Greetings,

On a suggestion from Erin, and with her assistance, I've arranged for my
band to play at the ESIP summer meeting early Tuesday evening. Though jazz
is our core strength, I've enlisted a rhythm section that can cover most
anything, and I invite any of you who are musicians (in just about any
genre) to plan on sitting in for a couple of your favorite tunes!

Live music will run from roughly 5:30 until 7:45 PM on July 8th, and I'm
reasonably certain we'll be playing at some location within the Copper
Mountain Resort.

I will have a trumpet and a flugel horn, and my colleagues will be bringing
a (good) electronic keyboard, an upright bass, and a drum kit. Feel free to
use any of these, but if you need other instruments, you'll have to bring
your own or contact me (dfulker at opendap.org) for assistance...

If you would like to play, please let me know in advance, and give me a few
tune names so I can be sure we're prepared (assuming the tunes are
workable!).

Hoping everyone will put this on his or her calendar,
Dave

P.S. The music and improvisations on July 8th will reflect only the views
of their creators and should not be taken as official policy statements
from any of the organizations represented, especially OpenDAP. ;-)
