[ESIP-all] ESIP Winter Meeting Early Bird Rate ends this Monday 12/15!

Hi All -

Interrupting the weekend with a quick note that 2015 ESIP Winter Meeting
registration <https://www.regonline.com/esipfederationwintermeeting2015> rates
will increase after Monday, 12/15. Rates will increase $100 for both member
and non-member. Student and 1-day rates are unaffected. The Renaissance
hotel block is full, but there are still available rooms at the hotel

.

The meeting theme is *"Earth Science and Data in Support of Food
Resilience: Climate, Energy, Water Nexus*" and will include a variety of
activities supporting this theme for all levels of technical expertise,
including:

   - Keynote plenaries on Day 1 will focus on food resilience and will
   include perspectives across sector and the data lifecycle with talks
   on SMAP, USAID, LTAR giving a data provider perspective  and a panel
   moderated by Dr. Brad Doorn, NASA HQ, highlighting Food Resilience data
   needs from the user perspective.
   - On Day 2, Tim Stryker will share recent work on US GEO and Rick
   Driggers will present on the Climate Resilience Toolkit during the plenary.
   - Breakout sessions related to the theme include:
      - Bridging the Resolution Gap Between Satellite Data and Agricultural

      - Resilience, Sustainability and Data-driven Adaptation
       - Demos in the registration area will feature the Global
   Precipitation Measurement (GPM)
