Please consider nominating your colleagues for an AGU award. Past nominators are encouraged to refine and update unsuccessful candidate nominations, and address feedback that the nomination process now more explicitly supports.

The Union Fellow and the new Union Ambassador awards criteria and nomination requirements are available at the honors.agu.org links below.

Also of note to ESIP is the Charles S. Falkenberg Award<applewebdata://2C2FAECF-7624-4AB5-91D2-062AFB9DC867/%3Chttp://honors.agu.org/medals-awards/charles-s-falkenberg-award/%3E>, given in "recognition of an early career, middle career or data scientist who has contributed to the quality of life, economic opportunities and stewardship of the planet through the use of Earth science information and to the public awareness of the importance of understanding our planet.” This AGU award was established in 2002 jointly with the ESIP Federation where Charles had been an active member.

Nominations are due March 15.

And one more—the ESSI Focus Group award is the Leptoukh Lecture<http://honors.agu.org/section-named-lecture/leptoukh-lecture-earth-and-space-science-informatics/>, now in our 4th year! You have more time for these nominations, due April 15.
