The goals of the Advanced Information Systems Technology (AIST) program are
to identify, develop, and demonstrate advanced information system
technologies that:

· Reduce the risk, cost, size, and development time for Earth
science space-based, airborne, and ground-based information systems,

· Increase the accessibility and utility of science data, and

· Enable new observations and information products.

The focus of AIST is on maturing technology projects starting at a
Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 2 to 4 levels and advancing them at a
point where they can be demonstrated for potential infusion into the
appropriate science, applications, and mission communities, typically at
TRL 6.

Notices of Intent are requested by December 21, 2016, proposals are due
February 16, 2017.

Questions concerning this program element may be directed to Michael Little
