You are invited to participate remotely in the GOES-R Workshop for
Broadcast Meteorologists, Friday 18 November, 2016 from 1pm to 8pm EST!



Presented by StormCenter Communications, Inc., this workshop will provide a
unique opportunity for broadcast meteorologists from around the nation to
engage with professionals from NOAA and NASA on the launch of the next
generation GOES-R weather satellite. This revolutionary satellite will
transform weather forecasting with its high spatial and temporal resolution
sensor called the Advanced Baseline Imager (ABI).



StormCenter has partnered with The COMET Program/UCAR to offer an
interactive live webinar for broadcast meteorologists who cannot attend the
event in person. By registering and participating remotely, participants
may earn continuing education credits toward maintaining certification for
the AMS CBM and NWA Seal of Approval. The workshop recording will also be
available for online access after the event.
